5.01 Intro to Medical/Obstetrics/Gynecology

Welcome to Medical and OBGYN. There are a lot of topics that we cover in this module. But we’ve made sure to include the highest yield and important information for you so that you don’t have to figure out what’s important and what isn’t. In this module, we cover the medical emergencies that you may encounter in each body system as well as things like infectious diseases and acid based disorders

However, because we covered it in airway and cardiology, we won’t go back over lung diseases or cardiac diseases. We will also spend a few lectures talking about OBGYN, including normal delivery and what to do when things go wrong. Not all diseases affect only one body system, so make sure to keep this in mind that you will see some overlap here and there.

Use your workbook and practice questions to highlight some of the most important topics that we see come up on the exam.
